Compassionate first-time parents are looking for a collaborative, infant savvy nanny for their smiley, chill 5 m/o.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm (flexible if candidate is good fit)
DURATION: on-going
COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hr DOE
AGE OF CHILD(REN): 5 months old

ABOUT THE FAMILY:
These loving first-time parents have waited a long time to share their life with a sweet baby!
Both parents work from home with dedicated office space; they may go 2 days/week to a separate office outside of their home.
Both parents enjoy exploring the outdoors, traveling, and being of service to others.
Dad describes Mom as smart, patient, respectful, and having a loving heart.
Mom describes Dad as patient, loving, humble and funny.
The parents describe their baby as smiley and chill except when hungry or tired. Baby has sensitive skin.
THEIR IDEAL NANNY:
COVID and “tripledemic” cautious (e.g. vaccinated, wears masks in public spaces, on airplanes, etc.) Follows CDC guidelines to limit and reduce exposure.
The family seeks a nanny that has infant experience, is knowledgeable about developmentally appropriate activities, feeding, routines, and a familiarity with AAP safe sleep practices and spaces.
The nanny candidate should be a engaging, collaborative, kind and proactive.
They would like a nanny that is a team player with strong and respectful communication skills.
Having a nanny pitch in with additional tasks is always appreciated.
Be willing to independently perform child related tasks while baby naps.

Early childhood education, child psychology, or related degree or training is a plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional experience with infants
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
- Non-smoker
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Proof of insurance
- Clear DMV driving record
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to authorize a background check
