COMPENSATION: $20-$25/hour DOE

ABOUT THE FAMILY:

First-time parents are seeking a collaborative long term infant nanny. Their baby is 6 months old, so infant care experience and knowledge of infant development is a must! They describe themselves as “typical Montessori parents” yet recognize they are still developing their parenting styles.

They are Tech executives that work for the same company who appreciate a nanny who has organizational skills. Baby is sweet, funny, cute yet “opinionated”. Their 3 dogs (ages 8-15 years old) are an integral part of their family. They are Covid cautious due to the age of their baby.

THEIR IDEAL NANNY:

The family seeks a nanny with infant care experience. This includes developmentally healthy activities, feeding, and sleep rhythms that lead toward routines. Nanny should be comfortable supporting a pumping/breastfeeding mother. A nanny with a calm demeanor who is comfortable with babywearing and understands separation anxiety is a must! Reliability and dependability are paramount to this family due to their busy work schedules. They appreciate a nanny who is an open communicator, organized and professional. Self-starters who pay attention to details are particularly appreciated. They would like a nanny that provides full care and attention to their baby who will meet regularly with parents to discuss activities, behaviors and development. Their nanny should be active and ready to keep their baby busy indoors and out. Must be comfortable and open to assisting with multiple aging dogs.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional experience with infants

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:

  • Non-smoker
  • Fully vaccinated including flu, Tdap, and Covid-19 (plus boosters)

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

  • None

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willing to authorize a background check
