DURATION: 10 weeks with possibility for extension
COMPENSATION: $40+ per hour DOE/Qualifications
AGE OF CHILD(REN): Newborn due June 15, 2023

ABOUT THE FAMILY:

This family’s home, no matter where they are, is centered on kindness and love.

Both parents play polo and manage a polo club in Florida. In the off-season (summer and winter) they travel to play elsewhere.

This warm and caring first-time Mom is excited to start her motherhood journey. She describes herself as athletic, adventurous, detail oriented yet flexible, and lives a lifestyle focused on holistic health and well-being.

Dad is a professional polo player who is described as an artist at heart, the kindest individual you will ever meet, athletic (has played polo for 30 years), brave, and a friend to all.

Dad’s two children, one adult and one teen, join the family during their summer in Wyoming.

The family’s black lab joins them in their travels, and is sometimes joined by the teen’s Jack Russell.

THEIR IDEAL NANNY:

A postpartum doula cross trained as a newborn care specialist

Knowledgeable about holistic nutrition and postpartum nourishment, with a preferred background in Ayurveda.

Appreciates a green lifestyle and is familiar with cloth diapering.

Kind, loving, and nurturing

Organized, yet flexible.

Willing to travel and live with the family for the duration of the contract.

Experienced traveling with newborns.

Happy to pitch in to with cooking, baby laundry, postpartum and newborn care.

Adventurous and appreciates the outdoors.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional training as Postpartum Doula and/or NCS
  • Professional experience with infants

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Certified Postpartum Doula
  • Certified Postpartum Doula

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:

  • Non-smoker

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

  •  None

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience traveling with child(ren) domestically
  • Willing to authorize a background check
