COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hr

ABOUT THE FAMILY:
This is a hard-working loving family who are kind and respectful.
Mom is sincere and a hard-working, work from home co-owneer of a family business and mother of 3. She will be returning to a more regular work schedule when the older children go back to school in the Fall. Although Mom works from home, the nanny will be exclusively responsible for baby’s care. during their shift. She is detail oriented and appreciates when people see and complete tasks without direction. She is warm and kind and treats those around her with respect.
Dad co-owns the family business with Mom. He primarily works outside the home. Mom describes Dad as caring, detail oriented, fun, kind and sincere.
Baby will be 3 months old when the job starts. They will be the nanny’s primary responsibility while the other children are in school. Personality, feeding and sleep routine tbd!
The 4 y/o is very laid back and likes crafts or cooking together. They are sweet and silly, more reserved and likes to play on their own more than the 7 y/o. This child will also be in school during most visits although does have 1/2 days on Fridays.
The 7 y/o likes playing outside, riding bikes, making snacks and doing crafts. They are sweet, energetic and love to be on the go. This child will be in school for most of the visits unless school is out for the day, or they are home sick.
Pet: one shorthair cat
THEIR IDEAL NANNY:
Will be safety oriented and responsible, self-motivated, have respect for our family rules, cleanliness oriented, happy to be there, and knowledgeable in infant care.
Will show up willing to help and who can understand the needs of our family and the demands of working parents. Someone who can care for the baby and help keep up the house.
Will understand all that goes in to running a household and can identify ways to be helpful and/or ask for ways they can help. Being intuitive and proactive is a PLUS!
Is punctual (even early) and extremely reliable.
Will gladly manage the following responsibilities:
Childcare: basic baby care like feeding, diaper changing, getting down for naps. Playing with the baby and keeping them safe and happy while respecting the family’s choices regarding safety, food, etc.
Household help/Personal Assistance: Family dishes, laundry, general tidying up of toys/kitchen, helping with breaking down recycling, possible meal prep, and helping with the kitty litter.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional experience with infants
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
- Non-smoker
- Covid-19 vaccination and booster are required
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to authorize a background check
