DURATION: 5 months (possibility for extension)
COMPENSATION: Starting at $30/hr

ABOUT THE FAMILY:
These wonderful parents are both attentive and responsive to their child. They have a calm, quiet and relaxed household. Dad described Mom as compassionate, attentive, and “crushing her Master’s Program. In turn, Mom described Dad as silly, dedicated, smart, and one “who gives people the benefit of the doubt”. They are just wanting an added layer of support built into their life since they have a new baby and are relatively new to the area.
Their baby will be 4 months old at the time this job begins. They are described as curious, alert, strong and easy-going. They are relatively calm and usually cry very little each day. Their child is bottle fed on demand, so they currently are not on a feeding schedule. At present, their child has no known medical issues or special needs and has consistently met all their developmental milestones.
They have two small dogs that are healthy and are up to date with vaccines. Both dogs are friendly and love people but are high energy.
THEIR IDEAL NANNY:
Their ideal nanny would be patient, nurturing, responsive, communicative, and prioritize child development. The nanny’s responsibilities will primarily be to care for their infant child, including constant supervision/oversight, bottle feeding, prepping, and washing bottles if needed, diaper changes, putting down for naps, clothing change if needed, and age-appropriate stimulating activities such as, tummy time, reading stories, and playing with toys. They would provide all the toys and materials and can discuss specific activities they would want the nanny to provide as their child grows.
They are open to negotiating with the nanny whether they will have any responsibilities related to pet care, depending on experience with pets and the nanny’s interest. If pet care is involved, they will offer compensation in the form or a higher rate.
The family is flexible regarding which day per week their nanny will work as long as it’s an 8 hour shift and consistent for the extent of their contract.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional experience with infants
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
- Non-smoker
- Fully vaccinated including flu, Tdap, and Covid-19 (plus boosters)
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to authorize a background check
