DURATION: 4 weeks
COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hour
AGE OF CHILD(REN): 4 y/o and newborn

ABOUT THE FAMILY:
These kind and loving dads are traveling from the UK to Portland, OR to welcome their second baby by surrogacy.
Although they are experienced at caring for a newborn, they welcome support as they transition into a family of 4.
Newborn is due February 2, 2024.
Almost 4 y/o is described as a very active child with a big personality. They are very verbal for their age and also quite tall. They love being outside and spends time daily outside. They love learning how things work and building things. They are a big fan of trains, tractors and diggers. They love the color pink and books. They can get frustrated and is learning how to work through expressing their emotions.
In their words, “Before the birth, it would be to help look after [our child]. After the birth, it will be a whole host of things.”
THEIR IDEAL NANNY:
Is a postpartum doula willing to also provide some sibling/nanny support
Will use a family-centered approach to provide care to all members of the family.
Will be happy to share strategies regarding incorporating a newborn into the current family structure.
Is easy to communicate with, flexible, understanding of different needs, calm and trustworthy.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional training as Postpartum Doula and/or NCS
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
- Non-smoker
- Fully vaccinated including flu, Tdap, and Covid-19
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- None
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to authorize a background check
