We’re actively recruiting nannies seeking 10-20 hours/week with a 3-12 month commitment. Nannies for fill-in shifts and on-call sick care shifts, or temporary placements are also needed.

ABOUT THE FAMILY:
Many Portland area families are turning to West Coast Baby Care to find part-time nannies to fill their gaps in care. As we learn about each family, our nanny coordinator will share information about the family, their particular needs, scheduling, pay rates, etc.
*WCBC is dedicated to advocating for fair pay and treatment of the nannies on our roster by the families we serve.
THEIR IDEAL NANNY:
Our nannies primarily work with children ages 4 months – 5 years old, are paid legally and well. Our families are looking for nannies who are patient, engaging, positive, self starters, and, most importantly, reliable. Because of the urgent nature of these placements, candidates should be responsive to text, email or phone communications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous professional experience
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
- Non-smoker
- Fully vaccinated including flu, Tdap, and Covid-19 (plus boosters)
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to authorize a background check
