ABOUT THE FAMILY:

First-time parents of sweet 3 m/o

Mom is a caring woman who lives with chronic health conditions that leave her partially disabled. She is recovering postpartum and will be returning to work as an educator part time. She is funny and charismatic and recognizes that she needs a bit of help caring for her baby.

Dad admits to being nerdy, yet polite and engaging. He is kind-hearted and vey involved as a parent.

Baby is described as “easy going” and “a dream baby”. The parents say baby is pretty even keeled and happy-go-lucky. Likes: staring at light fixtures, trying to headbutt Dad, cuddles, 90s grunge music, playing goalie against the bottle! Dislikes: being put in a car seat, loud sneezes, being naked, strong perfume

The family has two mini-dachshunds who like other people more than they like the baby at this point. They’re working with a trainer.

THEIR IDEAL NANNY:

The family seeks a nanny that is very knowledgeable in infant care and can engage their baby in developmentally appropriate activities, feeding, routines, and a familiarity with safe sleep practices and spaces.

The nanny should be comfortable with parents that are at home and/or working from home.

They should be a good communicator, punctual and have initiative. They should be collaborative and be comfortable acting as part of the “family team”.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional experience with infants

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:

  • Non-smoker
  • Covid-19 vaccination and booster are required

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

  • None

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willing to authorize a background check
