ABOUT THE FAMILY:
The household consists of the child, Mom and Dad (who work from home) and both Maternal Grandparents. West Coast Baby Care has a had a long standing relationship with the family and knows them to be generous, kind, fun and loving.
They describe their 5 year old as a warm loving, happy, energetic child who experiences autism and global developmental delays. They love playing outside! They also like building, painting, playing with trains, arts and crafts, and playing with all the tech devices in the house. Their child enjoys meeting new people but still prefers being with their parents when they’re around, so keeping them occupied helps tremendously!
THEIR IDEAL NANNY:
This gentle and loving family is looking for a Nanny who is kind, patient, reliable, and understanding of child differences.
While the nanny doesn’t need to have experience with children with additional needs, their child has autism, and that presents with some unusual speech patterns and repetitive behaviors. So it’s really important to that the nanny is open to learning about what the child’s needs are, though frankly, they’re not beyond what a typically developing child needs, they’re just a little different.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous professional experience
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
- Non-smoker
- Able to navigate stairs
- Fully vaccinated including flu, Tdap, and Covid-19 (plus boosters)
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to authorize a background check
