WHEN: ASAP with 1 year commitment
SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm + random nights/weekends for Timbers soccer home games.
DURATION: 1 year commitment
COMPENSATION: $27-29/hr DOE twins experience
AGE OF CHILD(REN): 2 y/o and 3.5 m/o twins

ABOUT THE FAMILY:
Hard-working professional parents
Mom works from home and may want to cuddle or help care for children during work breaks.
Parents are easygoing and collaborative, kind and considerate
Pets: 11 y/o English Bulldog who is deaf and slightly blind; 2 m/o Bernese Mountain Dog who is sweet and still in his training stage
The 2 y/o is described is described as very sweet and cuddly. They love their twin siblings and is great at being independent while feeding the babies.
The 3.5 m/o twins were born prematurely and have been playing catch up! The “older twin” is sweet and mild mannered. The “younger twin” is a happy baby with a bad case of FOMO. They both like to be held.
THEIR IDEAL NANNY:
The family seeks a nanny that is knowledgeable in infant and toddler care, feeding, routines, and a familiarity with safe sleep practices and spaces. Their nanny can engage their children in developmentally appropriate activities.
The nanny candidate who is patient, kind, good at multitasking, compassionate and reliable. They should be comfortable with guidance from parents, especially regarding the twins’ care. They should be collaborative and be comfortable acting as part of the “family team”.
Responsibilities include full care of infant twins and toddler, grocery pickup (on occasion), managing all baby/child related tasks (kids laundry, meal prep and clean up, tidying up, nursery restock, etc.)
Willing to work collaboratively with overnight doula and parents regarding feeding, sleep, and general care of twins
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous professional experience with multiples
- Professional experience with infants
- Professional experience with toddlers
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Infant/Child CPR/First Aid Certification
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
- Non-smoker
- Able to navigate stairs
- Fully vaccinated including flu, Tdap, and Covid-19 (plus boosters)
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Proof of insurance
- Clear DMV driving record
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to authorize a background check
