ABOUT THE FAMILY:
This loving family is due with their second baby anytime! They are funny, loving and focusing on taking care of their needs.
Mom will be recovering postpartum and will be returning to work as a professor part time. She is funny and charismatic and is unashamedly asking for the help she needs.
Dad is an ER doctor at a local hospital. He is very family-oriented and a wonderful caregiver. His odd schedule leaves the family needing additional help. He has a quiet personality, but has a great sense of humor.
Baby is not born yet, so we don’t have much information! This baby has been called a “miracle baby”.
Their 7 year old will be in school or daycare during most shifts. While the nanny is present, if parents are not working, parents hope to have quality time with their child.
The family will have overnight doulas for 3 months.
The family has two cats.
THEIR IDEAL NANNY:
The family seeks a nanny that is very knowledgeable in newborn and infant care. is reliable, empathic and warm, and collaborative.
The nanny should be comfortable with parents that are at home and/or working from home.
They would like a nanny that is happy to follow suggestions from overnight doulas and parents, but will be proactive in the care of the newborn as well.
They need a nanny who will gladly add family laundry and dishwasher detail to their tasks to support mom postpartum and as she transitions back to work.
Their nanny should be dedicated to the newborn’s health and safety.
The family wants the nanny to know about a tragic event in their life (we will share with candidates they are interested in) that provides a backstory to their needs and sensitivites.
